On the 16th of march around 18.40 in the centre of Moscow at the exit of the metro station ‘kitai gorod’ around 15 neonazis armed with knifes attacked 7 people which were going to a punk concert at the club ‘art garbage’. As a result of the attack a young man from the Moscow provincial city of Noginsk – 21-year-old Aleksey Krilov - died on the spot from numerous knife wounds. A young girl also suffered, she was stabbed in the spine by a knife, but her rucksack saved her as the knife got caught in it. Witnesses of the crime have already given their statements on the matter to the security forces.

It is worth noting that the attack was carefully planned in advance. On the 14th of March on the ‘Forum of the Fans of Spartak’ (http://forum.fanat1k.ru/index.php) there was a thread created in which an attack on the concert was discussed. Now this thread has been deleted but its text remained in the cache of search engines. Here are some quotes from the moderator (nickname Perovskiy) instructing the users of the forum:
“1) Let 1 or a number of people by Sunday travel to the club and check out the area.
2) Dress just like local inhabitants
3) Don’t go too close to the club.”
And further – “It is better not to write anything on this subject, just use this information in accordance. On Sunday this thread will be deleted.”

Unfortunately it is not the first attack of its kind. In April 2006, also before a punk concert in one of Moscow’s Clubs, Neonazis killed 19-year-old Aleksander Ryukhin.

Newspaper ‘Tvoi Den’ reported that he told his mum before he left the house ‘mum, I’m going to the concert, don’t worry’, he had a girl friend of many years and was planning on marrying her in the immediate future. According to witnesses the attackers asked Aleksey just one question, ‘are you antifa?’ Without waiting for the response they began to attack the youngster. Aleksey died lying in a pool of blood between two cars, he had already been stabbed 34 times.(http://www.tden.ru/articles/028494/)
