Ok now its official, i think the new coach of barcelona deserves his own topic. All pep talk in here.

Good luck to the man. Im sure he has some very good ideas, but his lack of experience worries me. Hopefully he can be an anomoly and become a great manager.

One thing is for sure, the man will have the full the support of the fans ... agree or disagree.

I hope that his coaching/training staff is better than what Frank has had over the past two years.

Yep, his experience is worrying me too. I think hes gonna bring in an experienced assistant manager to compensate. The question is who??

i think this ship is too big for him to steer... he will end up making the same mistakes as frank as he is a former legendary player unlike mourinho or lippi who are legendary coaches.

i fear the team who will have mourinho as a coach next season.
No special one.... Guardiola it is!

You mean Inter? It's obvious that's where he is going.

Apparently Pep is bringing his Barca B coaching staff with him, which means the return of Busquets. I wonder if he will teach our keepers to not use their hands.
I'm also worried what this will do for Barca B. It's good we got promoted, our kids need competition, and after all the work revamping our B team it all has to start over again.

FFS I hope he doesn't end up being another crappy coach from the "Dream Team". But I have faith in him. :)

Ahhh Nolan. Now i'm going to think Jatin has a valid opinion. I've already made that mistake by assuming CA was him.

I think Laporta will give Guardiola a year to build his team and get some expirence in the process so he has given up from winning any bigger trophy next season.

It feels strange knowing that we have a new manager. I'm excited that it's Pep and I'm hopeful that he is successful.

SAYS GOAL.COM!!!!! Dont sweat it man...wait until summer to find out what happens. Think of something else. Like babies or david beckham. Just dont get worked up about the idea of yayá leaving.

I'm sure Pep will keep Toure. Pep must surely know how Toure has been a warrior for this team, and how talented he is.

I agree, but not b/cuz of the experience that Pep must gain, but based on the fact that this team will probably be completely rebuilt. Iniesta, Puyol, VV, Bojan, Messi and Xavi are probably the only untouchables on the roster. Abidal, Marquez and Eto'o will probably have their attitudes/commitment levels assessed. I think Deco is gone. I hope Toure stays. Henry is probably gone. Gio might stay. Milito has to stay. Ogg will probably stay. I hope Sylvi stays. Eidur is gone. Ezquerro is gone. Zambo is gone. Edmilson is gone. Thuram is gone, but his veteran presence can be useful in the dressing room. I think that's everyone.

so we have a squad of

GK: VV

Def: El Capitan, Milito (inj), Ogg (invalid), Sylvinho (inj), Abidal (maybe), Victor, Marquez (maybe)

Mid: Xavi, Iniesta, Toure (hopefully), Crosas

Forwards: Messi, Bojan, Gio, Eto'o (maybe), Pedrito, Vazquez

that's a lot of holes to fill in the middle and in defense.
