ronaldinho > kaka

seriously, as soon as he came on milan took control. he scored a BEAUTY to bring them back into it and then switched the play to open things up for the second (and then a great ball in by zambo - barca almuni ftw!)

to be fair seedorf helped as well. none of emerson, rino and flamini can pass with any sort of control.

kaka's a wonderful attacking endpoint, but he can't control a game.

now, kaka AND ronaldinho AND seedorf/pirlo.

ouch.

fantastic game though.

all credit to pompey, they came out and really had a go and were the better side for an hour.

their fans are amazing too.

How old is Seedorf? 40?!?! :D

The free kick was indeed class, though it was never a free kick in a million years.

Great game of football that, unlucky for Pompey, they played really well. What a free kick from Ronnie though, and Inzaghi took his goal superbly.

Pompy panicked like hell. For a team who have beaten better sides like Man United, you would think that they would be able to keep their composure.... obviously not.

If anyone can take Milan, it's SuperDepor (or to be serious, Valencia or Sevilla)

Have those teams the mental fortitude to beat Milan? IMO I doubt it.

I was talking to that uni girl i like (on the phone) and a bee got in my jeans.

So here i am talking to this woman i want to impress and i suddenly hear all this buzzing coming from my mid region...and i start to scream like a girl (f**k!) and then she asked "what's going on?!" and i was like trying to find an excuse and i just said "...i accidentally stepped on a snail.."

WHY THE f**k DID I SAY THAT!?! Fucks sake man! She probably thought i'm some real pussy or something (don't say anything Anton)

they're big game specialists.

if they want to win the UEFA cup, they will.

but their priority is serie 'a' and their squad is still too old in key areas.

Milan is so overrated it's not even funny. They are a lot better than they were last season, but they still have weaknesses on both sides and have only won a lot of games through free kicks and questionable ref decisions this season.

Valencia and Sevilla could outplay them. Hell, SuperDepor could beat them with a little luck.

teams have been outplaying milan for decades.

doesn't mean they get the win.

of course they have flaws, they have massive gaping flaws. but they have big game players coming out the yinyang.

If Portsmouth came within seconds of beating them, what will stop Valencia or Sevilla beating them? They look rubbish and being outplayed by Portsmouth (who have been dire under Adams) is not a very good sign.

you don't seem to understand how milan work.

it doesn't matter how good the opposition, they will nearly always find a way to win.

their team is FULL of big-game players and matchwinners. moreso than any other team. they can play s*it and pull it out of the bag for this reason.

their defence is suspect but they can play a screen of ambro, flamini and rino.

like life in jurassic park, they will find a way.

Like Barca did in 2000-01 you mean :D

All top clubs have a few years of wilderness in that sense.

Valencia without the 2 davids aren't all that - and I have watched them a lot. Milan can beat them easily.

Also I never mentioned Sevilla I was talking more about Depor and Valencia. I reckon Sevilla can test Milan.

But Milan have big game players and more often than not their mental strength sees them through, while others falter.
