Our second signing is likely going to be Ibra, a great player who more or less singlehandedly served as Inter's attack in the past few seasons, but also a player who has many questions.
Joan Laputa is putting his head on the line with this one as far as I'm concerned.

A positive though is that he is better in the air than Eto. Alves will finally have a traget for his pin-point crosses.
Ibra and Messi will be unplayable one they get use to each other. Ibra is the total package. A post-player, scorer, passer, good in the air. He will get better service than at Inter from Messi, AI, Xavi and Henry. Not only that, those guys will get service back from Ibra. Eto was good, but he was a predator first and fore most.
I trust Villanova and Pep to tactically work something out to get the best of Zlatan at Barca. He is the type of player that gives us more attacking options than Eto'o does.
The defensive part is something that must be sorted out though as Eto was a big part of the pressing game. If Ibra is serious about proving his doubters wrong (and there are many of them in Europe), he should come ready to listen to Pep and work for the team.

No matter, it appears to be a done deal, and Ibrahimovic is certainly an excited prospect for the league. Not quite so sure how effective he will be for Barca though, I don't think he has as many goals in him as Eto'o and from what I have seen of him he disappears in the big matches. What I was really wondering is how much truth there is to the story that he is willing to take a pay cut to come to Spain, as he has said nothing himself. Because he is the highest paid player in the world, significantly more than Messi, Henry, Xavi and Iniesta - who could rightly demand parity were he to get a wage of the same size, could cost Barca an absolute fortune.

I don't see how paying €50 million for Villa and keeping Eto'o and losing him on a free next season is any worse than giving Eto'o to Inter along with Hleb and then paying another €40 million on top of that.

I know which player i'd much rather have in my team, especially when it comes to the big stage in Europe.

Well done on completely ignoring the fact that Ronaldo was the top scorer in the Champions League that season Zlatan got 5.

The EPL is a better league defensively than Serie A, but Serie A is second when it comes to defense by a considerable margin.

Agent: Inter's Ibrahimovic Is Better Than Real Madrid's Kaka, Cristiano Ronaldo And Benzema Put Together
Mino Raiola does not think much of Los Merengues' new recruits, believing that his client is better then a combination of all three of them...
According to Zlatan Ibrahimovic's agent, not only is his client better than Kaka, Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema, but he is greater than all of them put together.
Mino Raiola has been busy trying to secure a swap deal in recent days, one that will see his clinet move to Barcelona with Samuel Eto'o heading to Inter.
Speaking to Marca, the agent could not resist a dig at Ibra's potential future rivals, saying, "Ibrahimovic is better than Kaka, Ronaldo and Benzema put together, because he has phenomenal technical ability."
While such proclamations might excite Barca fans, Raiola stressed that deal had not yet been completed, but said he was "calm" about the prospect of both players reaching agreements on personal terms with both clubs.
He's not even better then just Benzema.
