i have never seen such breath taking football from man united in a long time, we were without Ruud as well...if he played we could have won by more goals..!!! haha

Just as I speak highly of O'shea, he scores a beauty like that.

What a game, what a night, great advertisment of English Football. Great goals, hard tackles, great attacks. The only downsides, defending and Silvestre, there was no need in that.

oh its all right, at least man utd are back to what they were a couple of seasons ago...if only theyd have played consistently over the entire season, chelsea's lead at the top would have been well short of 11 points...
O Captain! my Captain! rise up and hear the bells!
Rise up—for you the flag is flung—for you the bugle trills;
For you bouquets and ribboned wreaths—for you our home's a-crowdin;
For you they call, the swaying mass, their eager faces shoutin—For
you to lead your team ahead, for you they work and strive;
Oh Captain My Captain, they call you Puyol5

What will happen to Giggs? Has he signed a new contract already or is he leaving?

Who knows but there's one thing that he proved on Tuesday. That boy can still play at the highest level in the biggest game. We do need to be thinking about a replacement though and gradually include them in the team and he could even learn from Giggs.

downing would be damn bloody good....

his crosses are marvellous and ruud can head in those easily...it will be like having beckham again.... i think we need some more young blood though...1 in midfiled and 1 in defense. and definately a new goalkeeper....so 3 summer signings is whats required...

A centre back aswell. I have a certain feeling the Mr Silvestre will be leaving this summer. I want Vincent Kompany, that kid is awesome.

Javier Mascherano would be the answer. Man Utd can get him at a bargain price. Maybe he's not yet proved his worth in europe, but the quality he demonstrates while wearing the Argentina's shirt at the age of 20 is something to be valued and appreciated.

downing would be perfect for man u. it would not only help downing by pressuring him to play vs bigger teams and to fill the great giggsy's shoes but would also help united in turn by aquiring one of england's hottest propeties. that guy gets like 1 assist everygame for boro. imagine what he'll do with rvn and rooney and smith and saha
HALA MADRID!

Back to the shadows all you Culeros

giggsy is probably signing a 2 year deal.... i think Man utd need a strong presence in the centre of the pitch and mascherano is not the answer to that, hes too young....

Is joey barton on man utds transfer list?

have u seen him play?
Yeah I have seen him a couple of times playing for Anderlecht. He looks great, was really quick and a tough tackler. I saw him play at right back once aswell and he had some good attacking skills aswell.

I wouldn't have thought so:
1. He's a scouser
2. He's plays for City
3. He isn't good enough for United.
