Rise up—for you the flag is flung—for you the bugle trills;
For you bouquets and ribboned wreaths—for you our home's a-crowdin;
For you they call, the swaying mass, their eager faces shoutin—For
you to lead your team ahead, for you they work and strive;
Oh Captain My Captain, they call you Puyol5

Well any HoF has to include the master King Kenny
Also from a completely biased point of view as he is my favourite player of all time. John Barnes! The best player in europe alongside Maradona from 1987-1989 imo.

if he wasn't black he'd have gotten a lot more recognition. coz he really was quite an amazing player.
I mean you know I hate liverpool but in kenny and barnes you had two genuine world class players.

And I mean the club - not the team. Because don't give me the b.s. about boring football.

We've had our punishment and while we must never forget that night, we should move forward. Andd after chatting to some Juve fans in the 05 CL campaign I believed some of us did. Of course some will never forgive and I appreciate that, but those Liverpool numbskulls were a MINORITY of liverpool supporters.
I also feel our punishment in many ways cost us in more ways than one - though it was totally the right thing to do, don't get me wrong. But we would have won 2 european cups in the late 80's easy and given that Milan team of the late 80's a much harder test than they got. FC Porto wouldn't have won the 87 european cup. We would have. PSV wouldn't have won the 88 european cup - we would have. Then for the 89 and 90 years I really truly believe the games between Liverpool and Milan could have been something magical and IMO a toss up for the winner. We would have been declining, while Milan rising so they probably would have won them both.
But Milan-Liverpool could easily have been in 4 finals together instead of two.
* I also reckon under normal circumstances we would have beaten Juve in 85 too. They needed a penalty - where the foul was clearly outside the box - to beat us that night. Then that prick Pratini celebrated like an arsehole, considering what happened a few hours earlier.
