The real Clasico! Forget Barca-Madrid, Inter-AC, Boca-River, Rangers-Celtic!
Who needs Ronaldinho, Zidane, Ronaldo, Casillas, Puyol, and Eto'o when you have Landon Donovan, Ante Razov, Hercules Gomez, Kevin Hartman, and Cobi Jones?!?!?!?!?!?!

The Galaxy take on Chivas tonight, and despite Galaxy being defending champions and Chivas having the worst record in the MLS last year, Chivas go in as favorites from their form in the start of the season.

Last one I went to was 3-1 to Galaxy. I'll be at the game in the thick of the passion, so watch out for me on tv (because I know you all will be watching).

Good to see John O' Brien, the lost American/Ajax man, hopefully get his debut.

And thankfully, that twat Ngwenya will not be playing for Galaxy tonight.

Let the Super Clasico commence!

Donovan bashed his teamates publicly and called them a highschool team. For that, they may end up losing.

WE'RE GONNA KILL THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What Donovan said was the truth. Galaxy always have a nasty start to the season, like we did last year, but Donovan can easily turn that around with an inspired performance.

He called them a highschool team [lmao].

And yes, Donovan can changes things around so enjoy the game.

Anyways, thats it right there. Argument over due to lack of knowledge.

ps. will this game be played on an American Football field? With all the lines and numbers and s*it?

I'm pro-diving..it's part of the game and exaggerating or even faking a foul is as much of a skill as any.

PLEASE, keep your comments to a minimum everyone! This thread is rapidly growing with discussions!

GM Wackadoo, the Galaxy is the first team I ever 'supported', or watched, or admired...so you may assume I am with the Galaxy on this one.

YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!

Chivas up 1-0 through an Ante Razov goal (and more proof why Hartman is a shite keeper), but don't rule out Donovan! Donovan sets up 2 goals, the final one a classy move from him beating 3 players and perfectly chipping to Cornell Glen, and was named man of the match. 2-1 Galaxy win.

Poor John O Brian, who made his long anticipated MLS debut, only to come on for 10 minutes and lose
He certainly does not look like the same player that lit up the WC 4 years ago :(

BUT YEAH! OUR SEASON IS BACK ON TRACK! :excl: :jump:

Mo:

With the increasing popularity of 'soccer' in the United States, and the obvious passion for the MLS of countless members in this very forum, I suggest we drop 'Barca chat' entirely and convert it into an MLS forum.

...And I won't take 'no' for an answer.

LA derby?

I checked out the players of Chivas and... amazing!!! I found players who i heard for them before
Claudio Suarez (damn he is still alive  ) and O'Brian who played for Ajax I think. Ante Razov was a former temmate of stoichkov as well and I think he know some bulgarian words

Yep, they have a few famous people this year...you might also remember Palencia, the Mexican international from the 98 and 02 WC...?
