The Next USA President??? Barack Obama

Well spoken, eloquent. Against the war and for the poor. He certainly looks to have the manner and composure to at least talk like a great president. When you watch him, you sense a sincere humility and clarity in what he believes in. A good communicator, unlike the idiot in the oval office at the moment. Beyond his words, he has apparently done a great job in his electorate city of Chigago.
I think the fact that the American people are so quick to see label such a relative new comer for the presidential chair shows, not so much a conviction in this man, but their desperate desire for some new hope and heroism from their leaders. 7 years of Bush will do that to a country I suppose.
Check out Obama in the 2004 keynote speech in support of the than Democrat elect John Kerry. Kerry of course failed to unceed Bush at that time, however from watching the video, you can sense, it wasn't because of his fellow party men Obama.

Its going to be Hilary Clinton vs. Obama vs. Gore to rep the Democrat's in the next election. Probably against Senator Mccain for the Republicans.
Anyway, all four would do much better than Bush right now, thats for sure.

so much s*it has happened in past 6 years due to bush. it is really strange to see so much change in the world in such a short time. the rise of radicalism combined with racism and prejudice based on the religion.
the US policy that bush implemented only was wars for oil. stupidly it will sink us with it. it cant or it is scared shitless to do something about north korea and iran... however it is a bully to weak nations like iraq and afghanisthan.

However America can not attack North Korea. It means a potential war with China, with attacks on South Korea and Japan. If Bush did attack North Korea it would mean a new world war and much heavier American losses than his faced in Iraq. With pressure in Iraq, Afganistan, instability in Israel, Lebannon and Syria the s*it could REALLY HIT THE FAN, if Bush committed to another war in the region.
This is why, despite all his tough talk of North Korea being in the "axis of evil", Bush has pussied away when push came to shove recently. I'm sure in that warlord mind of his, he wants to punch Kim in the face, however, thank God he is not that stupid and that at least hs advisors are earning there pay in regards to dealing with this situation.
However, by Bush not taking on one-on-one talks with North Korea to find some kind of understanding, like Clinton tried to do (at least this man had some perspective, ambition and balls) Bush brands North Korea a terrorist country, offering only to deal with them in 6 party talks with Japan, South Korea, Russia, China.
Why??? when just before, Clinton finshed his term, peace was so close and North and South Korean's were marching as one into Olympic stadiums.
Because Bush and his daddy wants prolongs the tensions in the region. Espeically for Japan and South Korea.
Why???
Because then the US can sell more helicopters, tanks and missile defence programs to ward off the North Korean threat. Just last month Japan signed a new missle defence system. South Korea upgraded its weapons systems.
This is what its all about for Bush. Arms sales. Yet he sits there and says North Korea is evil because they are supplying America's enemies with arms? What a fuucking hyocrite.
Despite all the psycho taunts from Western media outlets, Kim jong-il ain't no punk. He knows the score and what to do to continue to milk aid from South Korea, Japan and the USA to keep his regime afloat. Survival is his goal. Not to wage another war. Make no mistake, this man is wrong in the way he runs he is country! however the USA, especially with Bush at the helm with his oil and arms agenda, is in no hurry to help find a lasting peace in that region.
Also, Japan, the real evil force in Asia. They are doing their upmost to over play North Korea's threat too, to keep the South and North Korea divided. Japan fears a united North and South Korea. Their aim in all this is to find an excuse to go 'Nuclear' themselves. Who will sell the technology and offer expert help when they do? The USA will as long as Bush is at the helm.
However, the US and the world must remember something. Historically, it has always been Japan who has tried to imperialize Korea and the rest of Asia etc. Who remembers WW2?. Thougout the regions history which dates back tousends of years before the second world war Japan was always the aggerssor. Attacking Korea and Japan, time and time again. The Chinese hate the Japanese more than Koreans do. Hard to figure why, when from the early 1900's, up until the late 1940's, Japan ruled over the two Korea's. Running it as a police state. Banning the Korean language, forcing its population into harsh labor, raping its woman, seperating its families, casting Korea as second class Japanese citizens. If any country has been truely guilty of imperialisation, creating war to get what they want, it has historically been JAPAN. Not North Korea.
See why I like Barca and what it stands for??? See why I say that this more than a football team philosophy offers universally just and identifiable values??? Fc Barcelona did a great and courages thing. The Catalan people showed how sport can trancend the boundaries games are played on.
Anyway, Bush, no forget Bush he is incapable, the next American president who comes into power (which is why I'm taking such interest in the next American elections guys) must treat North Korea for what it is. A poor, poor, country, with a leader who is trying to do everything to cling on to his rule by a backward communist political system that has failed everywhere else in the world. I know you can't find sympathy for a state and ruler like that. In fact you shouldn't.
However let me put it this way. If you see a old drunk begger on the street, making a ruckus in your neighbourhood. Do you beat him down and take his dirty coat off his back? or try and sober him up into some kind of rehab? At the end of the day, what is the righteouss solution to this problem. If Bush was such a born again Christian he would know the righteouss answer to that question. In fact, his predecessor, an adulterer who use to get blow jobs from his interns, cum staining their dresses in the process, proved wiser in dealing with this situation than he. Go figure.

Remember the immutable law of football: a man who banks on Spurs is eventually going to lose his house.

Obama is actually a leader. From the brief amount of his speeches and talks I've heard, he speaks with eloquence, power, and conviction. From what I remember, one of his biggest ideals was uniting America and making it less partisan.

I agree with this. A sad fact is that the Americans will not vote for someone who is black, and even though he is 'half white', his skin is not, and that's what the people will see.

and people mention Obama's youth and his lack of experience in politics... these things are true, but he is the only Democrat that I know of who has the qualities of a leader that the U.S. needs, qualities that, imo, Hilary Clinton, John Kerry, and George W. Bush don't have.
Too bad Wellstone died.
