I'd rather he became asst coach of Barça A ... but I guess he has to start somewhere!!! good news for the future of Barça ... we just need Frank to stay for a few more years while Pep hones his managerial talent.

Wait a sec, he's going to coach a 4th division team??
O Captain! my Captain! rise up and hear the bells!
Rise up—for you the flag is flung—for you the bugle trills;
For you bouquets and ribboned wreaths—for you our home's a-crowdin;
For you they call, the swaying mass, their eager faces shoutin—For
you to lead your team ahead, for you they work and strive;
Oh Captain My Captain, they call you Puyol5

oléeeeeee!!! It doesnt matter whether its Barça B or Infantil B. Fact is he is back at FC Barcelona and if all goes well he will be promoted to assistant at the first team and possibly even eventually head coach. Its a very good day for Barcelona.

Or it could be the platform he needs to then go and take over a midtable La Liga side and transform them into champions (ala Juande Ramos)

Uhh that wasnt what happened to Ramos. After he left Barça B he was at a host of clubs before taking the Sevilla job. Anyway Ramos wasnt a former Barcelona player not to mention the talisman that Guardiola was. Pep could have taken dozens of jobs in the Segunda and possibly even Primera. Do u really think he would go to Barça B just to get experience before he takes over Valladolid or some team like that?

What experience would he get from coaching them? When it comes to Juande Ramos..he would take any job because it counts to stuff to write on your CV. Thats most probably why he took the Barça B job. But Guardiola basically has his CV written already. He wouldnt learn things from coaching them that he couldnt learn from a Segunda side (in fact he'd learn much more from a Segunda side) and he doesnt need to spice up his CV with random jobs (yes Barça B is a random job).

Until he's ready I wouldn't mind Juande Ramos coaching Barca A.
