Yaya Touré has been included in the final round of voting for the BBC's African footballer of the year award.
Touré, who played a key role for Barça last season, made some 25 league appearances for Barça as the holding midfielder and yet only picked up just 4 bookings meaning he was never once suspended. As well as that, he played out of position in central defence in two cup finals, scoring the equalising goal against Athletic Bilbao at the Mestalla after a brilliant solo run through the entire Basque team before unleashing an unstoppable drive to score.
Up against him is former teammate Samuel Eto'o, Didier Drogba and Michael Essien of Chelsea and TP Mazembe's Tresor Mputu Mabi.
