Lilan Thuram is the lastest player to join the ever growing injury list. The Frenchman sustained a muscle tear that will rule him out for five to six weeks

Thuram picked up the injury whilst chasing Sergio Augero when the Argentine scored Atletico Madrid's equaliser last night.

It is expected the defender will return in February and should be available for both of Barça's Champions League games against Liverpool but he will miss the two Copa del Rey matches against Alaves and the league games against Getafe, Real Betis, Celta Vigo and the Catalan derbies against Gimnastic de Tarragona and Espanyol.

He now joins Gianluca Zambrotta, Giovanni van Bronckhorst, Sylvinho, Rafael Marquez, Edmilson, Leo Messi and Samuel Eto'o on Barça ever growing injury list.
