Midfield maestro Deco and defender Rafael Márquez have both been ruled out for a fortnight after picking up ankle and leg injuries respectively.

On Tuesday, the club announced that Márquez had picked up a muscle injury on his right leg during training.

Meanwhile, Deco has today strained his knee ligaments in his ankle during training.

This now means that both players will definitely miss this weekend's game against Real Sociedad at the Estadio Anoeta as well as next week's home clash against Real Betis but they should both be back for the key game against Atletico Madrid
