Madrid will lose their lead

French media were present after the azulgrana training session in La Masia and everyone turned their heads to Thierry Henry but it was Lillian Thuram who was going to be in front of the press.

He was asked about Barcelona’s position in the table and Lilian stressed that everything remains open as Madrid won't be lucky through all the season scoring goals in last minutes.

“Every match we play we have to get three points in order to stay with the top of the table and the most important for us is to be prepared when Madrid stumbles because I'm pretty sure they will. Real Madrid does not play well and they keep scoring their goals in last 10 minutes of the match which will not always be the case. This good fortune won't last forever.”

Thuram relied upon his experience with many clubs he has played for, “I've gone through similar situations with many clubs in my career trailing more than 7 points but managed to win the title at the end.”

Lionel Messi was another topic of the discussion and French veteran emphasized that the team need young Argentine crack coming back as soon as possible.

Lilian's contract expires on June 30, 2008, and when they asked him about future he concluded, "let us go slowly match after match then we shall see what happens.”
