Barcelona B's Israeli wonderkid Gai Assulin has been called up to the senior Israel squad for their upcoming friendly match against Chile in Tel Aviv.

Assulin, 16, was promoted to Josep Guardiola's Barcelona B team at the start of this season after working his way up through Barcelona's youth set up and his excellent performances for Barça B this season, where he has netted 7 goals and is the team's second top goalscorer, in the Trecera División has seen him rewarded with this unexpected call up.
